Can we use a prenup to address marital responsibilities?

My fiancé and I are getting married and I am considering asking for a prenup. I was married once before and after marriage, my spouse did not fulfill any of the promises she made to me before the marriage about how we would maintain our house, the raising of any children, how bills would be paid, etc. I don’t want that to happen again and I want it to be clear before we marry what I will be responsible for and what she will be responsible for during our marriage. I know a prenup generally protects things if the spouses divorce, but can it be used to define marital responsibilities throughout the marriage?
